Collecting Tumbles Weeds

Not your everyday hobby, but my boys claim to have an amazing collection of tumbleweeds. They seem to be drawn to one of our window wells. Once this was noticed it quickly became a collection not to be messed with! It was quite disturbing when they noticed them crushed beneath the snow which is currently piled high about the top of the window well.

Costume Time

I love Halloween and making costumes - soon I fear Primo and Segundo will no longer appreciate my work. The "Costume Negotiations" have begun. Several trips to fabric stores to peruse the pattern books have not yielded any decisions, yet. Primo is leaning towards some type of warrior, while Segundo is most definitely undecided! Soon, I will purchasing and returning patterns until final decisions are made. Then the fun begins, purchasing fabrics and notions, altering the designs for better functionality, and finally constructing the costume! Can't wait! Season for Tumbleweeds

The breezes are getting stronger,

night time is cooler,

the grasses on the hill are drying out quickly,

revealing the tumblewees,

only a few have been spotted rolling.

Accidental Experimental Travel

Somewhere along the way what was supposed to be planned wasn't. so we left on July 3rd with ourselves, directions to the hotel and a cooler. Knowing that we would figure Twin Falls and the surrounding area when we got there. Some highlights of our trip:
